Field Work, Bali

The Indonesian island of Bali. Home to around 4 million inhabitants and to the exotic dreams of nearly the same amount of tourists every year. If you leave the beautiful beaches of Seminyak, the night clubs of Kuta, or the spa areas of Ubud behind, you will get a chance to see the local life, the local people. As it is so often the case in Southeast Asia, you will find most people working on rice fields—for hours and hours every day, from a young age to the very eldest of the village.
